What would happen, if Yoko Shimomura, the author of music to the Kingdom Hearts game series, composed songs for the special concert aimed at the younger audience? Thomas Bocker – the producer of many innovatory events related to electronic entertainment – came up with this crazy idea.

For the final result, we fill have to wait until March next year.

The Merregnon: Land of Silence concert will not that different from what we have already seen and heard. It is homage not only to the classical music composers and their specific pieces of art – Siergiej Prokofjew (Peter and the Wolf), Camillle Saint-Saens (The Carnival of Animals) – but also to the Japanese animation that was prepared for the event itself.

For the final result, we fill have to wait until March next year. The premiere concert will take place in Konserthuset philharmonic in Stockholm and it will be performed by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The tickets will be available on 27 of August. I recommend attending this unique concert, as it may clear the path for other Japanese artists who compose video game music.
