Some say that life is all about moments. And, if any composers walk among us, their life should be all about this particular moment. Austin Wintory, the voice of Journey and Banner Saga, has announced on Twitter a challenge to write an arrangement to an already written melody. All this for a yet to be uncovered project which Austin is a part of, and which is to be announced next week
Authors of the most beautiful and unique arrangements will have a chance to be part of the composer’s next soundtrack.
It should be noted that there are no limitations regarding genre or style – as this news is being written, there is already a hip-hop arrangement and a music box one. Anyone who attempts this challenge can expect a free copy of the soundtrack once it’s released. Authors of the most beautiful and unique arrangements will be given a free copy of the game and a chance to be part of Wintory’s next soundtrack. There is much to fight for – good luck. Oh, and by the way – how about a concert of Banner Saga, Journey and Abzû’s music?
