The developers of the game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey published a video footage of the composing process of the game’s soundtrack.
The jungle is full of music.
The game is about the evolution of human in Neogene Africa, therefore the action takes place in the jungle. “The jungle is full of music” – says Mamo Koba, the composer of the soundtrack.
He explains what the term “African music” means to him, the role of rhythm and improvisation and other processes during the composing of the score.
