After a successful release of Kickstarter-funded Resurrection of the Night, an orchestral album consisting of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night fan-favorite pieces composed by Michiru Yamane, Materia Collective just followed up the release with another project.

It’s quite an effort that breathes new life into these great compositions.

The Kickstarter campaign that funded Resurrection of the Night went on, ultimately collecting 30,000 dollars and allowing for more recording sessions to happen. Those sessions brought us Resurrection of the Night: Alucard’s Elegy, which was just released. It includes more of Yamane’s and Matsubara’s pieces played by orchestra and choir.

The project, led by Wayne Strange and Tim Stoney (both of them produced Zelda Reorchestrated), is quite an effort that breathes new life into these great compositions. You can stream the album or buy it digitally or physically (both CD and Vinyl for a fair price).
