We organize exquisite monographic concerts, focused on presenting a selected game franchise, or a particular composer’s works, in a coherent manner. There are no visualizations during the show, and electronic sound amplification is avoided unless necessary. Truly a slow listening experience.

The Symphony of the Sword: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

The magnificent hall of the National Forum of Music will transport you to 15th-century Bohemia during The Symphony of the Sword – a symphonic rendition of music from Kingdom Come: Deliverance I & II. For the first time, you will be able to experience music from both these award-winning games during one epic performance as part of GMF 2026!

Composer Jan Valta will personally conduct this orchestral masterpiece. On stage, he will be joined by the renowned NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, as well as the Medici Cantantes choir. The band Veratus, specializing in the performance of early music, will also add their flavor to this concert.

Final Symphony II, the second chapter of officially licensed concert world tour will be presented live in Poland for the very first time on the 21st of September 2024 in Wroclaw’s National Forum of Music. Like its predecessor, it guarantees stunning orchestral suites based on the music from the FINAL FANTASY video game series – this time, FINAL FANTASY V, VIII, IX and XIII.

Fans will hear the world premiere of music from Baldur’s Gate III, the upcoming continuation of cult classic games set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. Furthermore, the other main ingredient of this event is the soundtrack of Divinity: Original Sin II – the critically acclaimed flagship title by Larian Studios. Both of these were composed by Borislav Slavov, and will be performed live by the seasoned NFM Philharmonic.

The Symphony of the Storm - Featuring music Diablo, World of Warcraft and StarCraft series

Consisting of three powerful suites, The Symphony of The Storm was a musical journey through three game series. The first suite took the audience into the world of the Diablo franchise. The second suite was inspired by music from the World of Warcraft and its expansions. The third suite was based on the music from the StarCraft series. This monumental piece of art was performed by the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra and NFM Choir, 120 musicians in total.

What would you say if you had to describe Ori and the Blind Forest using a single word? Beautiful. It’s just a delicate and sophisticated magic. This effect was achieved by developers not only thanks to top-notch graphical design. The soul of this game is its music. This extremely emotional score was presented during the Symphony of the Forest concert.

The Jazz of Grim Fandango - 20th anniversary concert

The thrilling soundtrack from Grim Fandango took the audience into the world of New Orleans’ jazz right from its first bars. Rhythmic percussion, a steady jerk of bass strings, some offensive piano accents, and wonderfully sounding woodwinds. A timeless classic! This performance was a pure jazz feast. The best jazz-men of the Bartosz Pernal Big Band took the audience back to twenties – with a twist.

The Symphony of Heroes - Featuring music from Heroes of Might and Magic© II, III and IV

The Symphony of Heroes concert will open the Festival. The score performed by an 80-person NFM orchestra represents magnificent music composed by Paul Anthony Romero. The opus consists of three symphonic suites – each of them presenting music from one of the games of the Heroes of Might and Magic series.
