The Symphony of the Sword: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

The magnificent hall of the National Forum of Music will transport you to 15th-century Bohemia during The Symphony of the Sword – a symphonic rendition of music from Kingdom Come: Deliverance I & II. For the first time, you will be able to experience music from both these award-winning games during one epic performance as part of GMF 2026!

Composer Jan Valta will personally conduct this orchestral masterpiece. On stage, he will be joined by the renowned NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, as well as the Medici Cantantes choir. The band Veratus, specializing in the performance of early music, will also add their flavor to this concert.

Concert description

Jan Valta, composer of both soundtracks, created a spectacular and diverse opus. His music brings every gameplay moment to life, whether you’re wandering through peaceful villages, carousing in a lively roadside tavern, or clashing swords during bloody battles. Jan’s symphonic work will be complemented by several medieval compositions created by composer Adam Sporka. Jan Valta will personally conduct this orchestral masterpiece.

On stage, he will be joined by the renowned NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, as well as the Medici Cantantes choir. The band Veratus, an ensemble of musicians specializing in the performance of early music, will also add their unique flavor to this concert.

February marks two release anniversaries: the seventh for KCD and the first for KCD2. Celebrate with us – raise your swords, pack your saddles, and together we will embark on a medieval adventure, following the footsteps of Henry of Skalitz!

This year, the top-priced tickets provide premium seating, as well as entry to the masterclass session with the related composer. So for The Symphony of the Sword, a VIP ticket allows the participation in masterclass with Jan Valta.

Yes, we will have amazing guests this time as well. Visit the gamemusic.net main site for all the details; some guests will be announced later on.

Same as at every GMF, we will prepare various workshops, panel discussions, and meetings with game audio professionals. The educational programme will take place in the venue or online, and the full schedule will be unveiled later on.

It’s not that easy, unfortunately. We cooperate only with top-class venues and performers, both of which tend to be booked many months (if not years) ahead. Nevertheless, in some cases a small number of tickets might become available again, e.g. when someone returns the already purchased ticket.

Organizing online broadcasts is a complicated process which requires multiple additional licensing agreements, lots of extra work, and special resources. As of now, we do not yet know if we will be able to provide a live stream, but we will provide an update in case anything changes.
