The soundtracks from Codename 47, Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money, hand-picked by the composer himself, will find their place on four vinyl discs. Lucky customers (only 2000 copies to be produced!) for the price of 100 dollars will be able to enjoy Kyd’s works in an excellent quality. Part of the release is the digital version of the collection, which is enhanced by tracks not present on the vinyls.
Agent 47 is an important character in the Dane’s career – he’s part of the first saga that connected Kyd’s name to the synonym of quality and gave him publicity. His music, being an extraordinary mix of electronic and classical tropes, remains a display of great craftsmanship and understanding of games’ needs. Perhaps it’s worth it to give this collection a shot? The makers are planning to start shipping in the last quarter of this year.
