Video Game Jazz Orchestra is a group of jazz artists that work with Materia Collective. They assembled quite recently. They chose jazz arrangements of video game music as their specialization. They first album has debuted just recently.
The album contains the most characteristic tracks from the Nintendo game.
Hang on to Your Hat album is a tribute to Super Mario 64. The album contains the most characteristic tracks from the Nintendo game performed by the most prominent jazzmen from Nashville. The recording took place in Ocean Way Studios.
