On May 11th, during the third annual Polish Games – Creative Poland professional event organized by the Polish Institute in Beijing, Indie Games Poland Foundation and China indie Game Alliance at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beijing, the Institute officially announced the upcoming Polish Games – Creative Poland: The Concert.

Will take place during WePlay Game Culture Expo in Shanghai in December this year.

The concert, co-organized by GAME MUSIC Foundation, China indie Game Alliance, Indie Games Poland Foundation and Shanghai TOMO Culture Communication Co., Ltd., supported by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Polish Embassy in Beijing and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, will take place during WePlay Game Culture Expo in Shanghai in December this year. It will be the first national game music concert of and first such venture initiated by the Polish Institute in Beijing.

The concert program will include soundtracks from the most popular Polish games, including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Frostpunk, Ancestors: Legacy, Driftland: The Magic Revival, My Brother Rabbit and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. The music will be performed by a Chinese symphony orchestra under the baton of a Polish conductor with guest participation of Polish bands who co-created the original soundtracks. The concert is also a part of this year’s celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and China and has the potential to become one of the most important events in the history of Polish-Chinese gaming industry cooperation.
